“I love my grudges. I tend to them like little pets.” Big Little Lies has proven to be a truly compelling portrait of how suffocating the pursuit of perfection is for women. Maggie Siff. Dr. Tara Knowles suffered a huge loss to her career last season on Sons of Anarchy, and when we meet up with Jax’s old lady this season, premiering tonight on FX, she’s still got the cast on her hand to remind her that life with SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) is a risky proposition. Will the prospect of danger, ever increasing, dissuade the good doctor from raising a family with her true love?

(As for White House Down’s softer $25.7 million debut, perhaps this shows that two’s company, but four’s a crowd.) And this summer is stuffed with more buddy action movies. This week, The Lone Ranger finds Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer riding high; on July 19, Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds topline supernatural action flick R.
A third Mamma Mia film? I’m listening… Get ready to renew your passport or at least your AMC A-List membership so this news won’t be slipping through your fingers. It’s time to take another trip to Greece, New York, and a mystery third location. Mamma Mia! Marc Maron. In September 2009, broke from a nasty divorce and having just been fired for the third time by Air America, comedian Marc Maron started interviewing other comedians about their woes for a fledgling Internet medium. Don’t be fooled by that time she put her feet up while hawking bedazzled jewelry on live television for the Home Shopping Network. Mariah Carey has no chill. She does not relax. She can’t. When you love winning this much, chill and relax are not in your vocabulary. Those words won’t help you add to your legion of devoted fans, five Grammys, 18 No. 1 singles, and 19 World Music Awards.
