Bob Dylans New JFK Assassination Epic Couldnt Be More Prescient

The deeper you get into the song, the more you realize the story here is the power of music as a respite in rapidly evolving times. March has been illuminating. We’re learning what we’re made of and what we can and can’t do without. A pandemic is the rare situation that requires governments and citizens to act in concert in order to ensure each other’s well-being. But we live in a bifurcated nation.

Bob Iger Is Coming Back to Disney as CEO

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because everyone in this story is named “Bob,” and that’s kinda weird, right? Bob Iger is replacing Bob Chapek as CEO of the Walt Disney Company, who in 2020 had replaced Bob Iger as CEO. “We thank Bob Chapek for his service to Disney over his long career, including navigating the company through the unprecedented challenges of the pandemic,” Chairman of the Board Susan Arnold said in a statement.

Bobcat Goldthwait Is Totally Okay With You Not Liking His Comedy

Bobcat Goldthwait. So I’m interviewing Bobcat Goldthwait in a chapel. It was less a deliberate decision — I wasn’t doing some cutesy bullshit Oh it’d be funny to interview Bobcat Goldthwait in a chapel type of thing — than the way things work out at a film festival, where screenings are held in whatever peculiar venues organizers can scrounge up. In this case, the festival was the tiny but mighty Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, Kansas; the peculiar venue was the city’s 19th-century Scottish Rite Freemasons Temple; and the only available space offering privacy for a chat was a tiny chapel on the third floor.

Bombshell Director Says Minidress Scene Is Most Excruciating Thing Hes Ever Filmed

The Gold Rush Brought to you by The Gold Rush Brought to you by Margot Robbie in the lead-up to Bombshell’s “stand up and twirl for me” scene About two-thirds of the way through the ripped-from-the-headlines drama, Bombshell’s cringiest scene unfolds: a sequence of events that begins with the words “Stand up and give me a twirl” and culminates in humiliation. A character named Kayla Pospisil (played by Oscar nominee Margot Robbie) is called before Fox News chief executive Roger Ailes (John Lithgow beneath layers of prosthetic jowl and wattle), who has ostensibly agreed to meet with the young segment producer to discuss her promotion from off-camera apparatchik to on-air talent — “Anchor Barbie” as a co-worker (SNL’s Kate McKinnon) calls it.

Current and former staffers called for editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport to resign. As Refinery 29’s editor-in-chief, Christene Barberich, resigned after staff members spoke out about racism they faced at the company, a similar reckoning is happening at Bon Appétit. Screenshots of messages from editor-in-chief Adam Rapoport shooting down a pitch from a Puerto Rican food columnist, Illyanna Maisonet, under the argument of seeking more “accessible” content circulated online, as did a newly surfaced photo — discovered by writer and wine professional Tammie Teclemariam — of Rapoport in brownface from 2004 which had been posted in 2013.

Bounce: A How-to Guide for Abandoning Your Family

Featured Funny Video: Bounce Once again, it’s that time of year. Spring. The season when flowers bloom, hope begins anew, and you hightail it to New York City, leaving your wife and new baby behind with nothing more than a note that reads, “Had to bounce. Wasnt feelin [sic] it .” Oh, that’s what this short is about? That sounds awful, right? More sad than funny? Well, yes. Sort of. And that’s the beauty of it.
